The collective unconscious is a fascinating topic that I can’t begin to grasp. I recently saw an Animal Planet show about a type of tiger in India that killed 300,000 people in the 19th century. Humans then sought revenge, wiping out scores of tigers. So the descendants of the survivors have learned not to attack humans. The collective unconscious of the tiger has advanced in this way. Evolution is too strange!
(I do hope I have my facts right here. I wasn’t taking notes while watching television. I never dreamed there might be a connection between tigers and kanji!)
