Sidetracked Again

Just as I was musing about and and how both can mean “interior” or “inside,” I noticed that they hook up in a word: 内奥 (naiō: inner part, depths, recesses, inside + inner depths).

If I write 内奥 as naiou (following one romanization convention), it becomes apparent that this word uses every vowel but e!
