An Inversion of Karami

空身 (karami: traveling alone and with little luggage)          empty + self
身空 (misora: one’s lot or circumstances)                            self + sky

If you reverse the kanji in 空身, you get 身空 (misora), which one could break down as self + sky, though it’s hard to be certain of this interpretation. For some reason, self + sky means “one’s lots or circumstances.” This would seem to represent quite a change from “traveling alone and with little luggage”!
