知れ渡る (shirewataru: to be well known)
     to become known + to spread

秘密はもうすっかり知れ渡っているよ。
Himitsu wa mō sukkari shirewatatte iru yo.
The cat is well out of the bag.

秘密 (himitsu: secret)     to keep secret + secret
すっかり (sukkari: all, completely, thoroughly)

The expression 知れ渡る isn’t just about secrets, and it isn’t only negative. It can also refer to names that are well known in a good way:

私の名は全校に知れ渡っている
Watashi no na wa zenkō ni shirewatatte iru.
My name is known to everybody at school.

(watashi: I, me)
(na: first name)
全校 (zenkō: whole school)     all + school
