Those “Names” in Kanji

In this silly little game, I’m collecting words or single characters based on their rōmaji spellings. Pronunciation doesn’t count at all. And I’m not looking for names such as Naomi or Mari that work in either language. Don’t overthink this one! I sure didn’t!

KAREN
可憐: poor; pitiful; cute; sweet; lovely      to be worthy of + pity

苛斂: oppression (e.g., taxation)     torment + tighten

Is taxation considered a type of oppression? By the way, both of these kanji are non-Jōyō.

SHAUN
社運: fortune of the company     company + fortune

DAN
: platform; podium; rostrum
: step, stair; grade, rank, level
: decision, judgment, resolution
: bullet; twang, flip, snap
: body; group; party; company; troupe

RON
: (1) argument; discussion; dispute; controversy; discourse; debate; (2) theory; doctrine

DON
: dull; slow; stupid; dull-brained

I’m sure I’ve missed some. Do you know of others?!
