You’ve both been very impressive today. I’m proud of you.

2人 (futari: two people)     two + people
とも (tomo: both, together)
今日 (kyō: today)     this + day
大- (dai-: prefix meaning great)
活躍 (katsuyaku: flourishing, doing well, being actively engaged)     lively + to leap
みたい (mitai: -like, similar to, resembling)
先生 (sensei: teacher)     ahead of + scholar
(wa: sentence-ending particle that women use, in this case to convey friendliness)

Do you recognize the first sentence here? We saw it a few weeks ago in a blog about 活躍. Back then I found these sentences on Breen but eliminated the one about the sensei.
