Yeah I know a great movie I love it when I was a child but 1984 is better because the 80's music began a generation of great artist like Cindy Louper! Health Plus establishs, Eurosports establish, etc, etc 8) :wink:

Alot of great things happen in 1984 and my parents decide to put me Cindy in her honor but made a mistake and post on my birth certificate Sindy instead of Cindy! :lol: :wink:

Been studying Japanese for a year, and pleased with my progress. :D
There seem to be a lot of sixteen y/os on here I guess...

Sixteen as well, only recently started learning Japanese.. though it's kinda an 'on-the-side' thing since my GCSEs (the first of two periods of English SAT-equivalent tests) are coming up and I've got two other languages to focus on. Love the language, love the culture, can't wait to apply to a university in a couple of years to do a degree in Japanese - good thing you don't need any prior knowledge! Hopefully I'll do the Level 4 JLPT next year, too, since I live near a centre.

I know the hiragana and katakana for 2 years but that's still almost all I know! :(
However I'm planning to start learning 日本語 seriously this summer. Any textbook recommended? :wink:

EH? Koko ni takusan ju-roku-sai no hito desu, ne ?

Watashi mo ju-roku-sai. I so wish I could write that in Hiragana... but my computer doesn't like add-ons, like alternate languages...

Sigh... I really need to improve my Japanese... za nen, ne...
