Bonjour,

I'm fluent in French and was a teacher for several years. I've been learning Japanese as self study. I find that the sister site to this one is very good, so check out Frenchpod101.com. Also if you're in the US, and can find it on your local PBS, watch "French in Action" it's an old video series but it does a good job. You may be able to find it on Youtube. About.com also has very good resources. If you're looking for a textbook series, I love the old "French For Mastery" series. Glencoe also did a nice series: I can only remember that the third level was called A Bord. BTW... don't believe the hype on Rosetta stone. It's way too pricy for what it does. I hope that helps.
