Also, 魚介類 (gyokai-rui) is used for referring to fish and seafood,
and 海鮮料理 (kaisen-ryouri) is for seafood dishes.
It might be the best for you to remember the sentence like "I can't eat pork" to specify
what you can NOT eat or want to avoid.
私は 豚肉が 食べられません。(watashi wa butaniku ga taberaremasen)
Since your religion is one of the minors here, people might not understand the word "halal".
If you want to know what kind of meat it is, it'd be;
これは、何の肉ですか(kore wa nan no niku desu ka)
