iPod Shuffle, crazy probs with podcast

Postby thumper » December 17th, 2006 5:52 pm

First of all, JapanesePod101 was the very first EVER pod cast that
i downloaded!!!

yaaa... anyways...

I just jammed a bunch of the podcasts on my shuffle and i have
some really weird problems...

first, ill arrange all my pod casts in order... 1-10, in itunes.

now, when i hit play(on my shuffle)... it Rearranges them backwards... 10-1
but, not only that.. but it skips... sometimes it will skip to the middle of a whole
new lession...

is there a problem with how the shuffle plays back? or is there
something i dont know about podcasts?

thanks,

If you stop in the middle of a lesson, the next time you play that lesson it might continue from where you stopped it. That might be what you experience. The other problems I can't help you with, sorry.

For the sake of ordering things, don't forget the leading zero. If you have less than 100 lessons, you need one leading zero.

So things should be numbered:
01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, etc.

If you have 100 or more lessons, but less than 1000, then you need two leading zeros.

Forgetting to do this won't make the lessons ordered "backwards", as you said they were, but it will cause the ipod to sort them incorrectly in a different way.
