Forum Mojibake

The Problem: Regardless of encoding, when replying to a topic, all Japanese existing in previous posts appears as mojibake. This problem appears to be OS independent, as I've encountered it in both OSX and Windows. I've tried switching page encoding to no avail, and since I haven't updated my OS/Browser lately, I think it might be a forum issue. I've only noticed this in the past few days.

... Anyone else experiencing this?

Thanks!

Yes. It must be a forum issue.

Do you have some specific examples? I'm not seeing it.

Oh, ok. I see what you're talking about now. This must be a bug in the forum software. This version of phpBB is not always foreign character friendly, unfortunately.

I don't have this problem. I'm using Windows Vista.
