iTunes evil

Postby jonnyhilly » June 30th, 2008 5:45 am

Hi I'm a registered menber and have been listening to the mp3 lessons for a while now.
Bought an I-pod and tried to put the playlists onto my iPod..
ok this wirked fine with my ripped CD's
but trying to put jpod101 files onto the iPod results in an error for all the files...
something like...

"some of the ite,s in the iTunes library, include ...blah blah jpod filenames....
were not copied to the iPod "My-iPod" because they could not be found."

which is ridiculous as they are right there, and I can even clickj on them in iTunes and play them on my PC.

So whats going on here ?
and is there a fix, or should I just return the iPod and go buy something else ?

any help appreciated, thanks.

Did you try removing them from the iTunes library and re-adding them?

actually, I did try this several times...
in the end I gave up and went to listen to some music on the ipod....
amazingly the jpod101 tracks are actually on there !!! so even though it spits out the error saying it didnt copy any of them, it actually had copied them all....

worrying, but at least its working for now
