Hi!

JUST one little question :

I don't have an ipod but I would would very much enjoy to practice the vocab with the videos on my PDA, could the vocab videos be posted in another format (like avi or mpeg)?

(The m4v files are impossible to convert)

Thanks!

My mistake. There is a way for those who use a Pocket PC with WM6.

1/ install TCPMP (a very good video player)
2/you have to find the encoders for both the audio and video for M4V files.

Here is the codec for aac. After you unzip it, install like you would any other program on your Pocket PC.

http://www.rarewares.org/files/aac/tcpm ... e.0.66.zip

To get the video to work, you need:

ffmpeg.setup.0.71

download it at :
http://picard.exceed.hu/tcpmp/0.71/

Same procedure as with the aac codec.
Restart your PDA. It now should work.

3/Guess what? When you try to read the Vocab Video, the size of it is so big that its fluidity is a disaster.

Why 10Mb for a 2/3 minutes video ??

yes
i agree

why does the file size need to be so large?

when you began the initial
trial
there was a smaller file
about 3mb

may we have this option of downloading the smaller file?

10mb is far too large
