Is there a way to reencode the pdf files?

Postby Birddog » August 5th, 2009 11:18 pm

Hey all,

Not all lessons have pdf-lite versions available as of yet, particularly the later newbie lessons, so I bought a pdf reader for my iphone that said it was able to read pdf files written in japanese, korean and chinese, so I could read them on my iphone. However it can't read the japanesepod pdf files, it just shows mostly up as blank (even the english)

Is there a way to re encode the pdf files so they are readable on an iphone that has a pdf reader with understands japanese characters? Foxit reader on my computer can read them, so I would have thought that any third party reader with japanese fonts could read them.

Thanks all,

Birddog

Hi Birddog,
What PDF reader are you using? I'll see if I can find some more information. I have heard that the Air Sharing application is great for viewing PDFs on the iPhone.
