Telephone Japanese

Hi,

I'm new to these forums so I hope I'm posting in the right place :?

Anyway, I would like to have a series which covers how to first answer Japanese calls (business Japanese if poss but not necessary), and then make phone calls. It would be super useful for my work (I have some English schools in Tokyo).
If this series is already available, where can I find it?

Kind regards

Nick

Nick-san,
thank you very much for your request! :D
I agree; those kinds of lessons are very important.
I'll speak to my team to find out if there's lessons we can recommend now.
Someone will get back to you shortly. Hope you can enjoy other lessons in meanwhile
Thank you for your patience!

Nick-san,

Thank you for your comment. We don't have any series specifically for making / answering phone calls, but on our Newbie and Beginner series you can find many lessons where the dialog takes place on the phone.
For example,
Newbie Lesson S2 #25 http://www.japanesepod101.com/2007/12/17/newbie-lesson-s2-25-nihongo-dojo-welcome-to-style-you-25/
Beginner Lesson #19 http://www.japanesepod101.com/2006/01/13/beginner-lesson-19-moshi-moshi-you-got-a-call/
Beginner Lesson #30 http://www.japanesepod101.com/2006/02/02/beginner-lesson-30-tracking-down-sakura/
Beginner Lesson #97 http://www.japanesepod101.com/2006/07/18/beginner-lesson-97-cell-phone-1/

These are just some of the lessons. :D

I hope it helps. If it wasn't what you were looking for, please let us know, so we can find the best solution to you!

Kind regards,
Paloma
