Hi Staff members of Japanesepod101,

Japanese Culture Class.... I miss them... I enjoyed every lesson thoroughly, especially the aomori dialect classes... and I thought these cultural classes were great ways to learn about the Japanese culture ... We may be able to learn grammar from books but there are not many materials about cultural festivals, activities, dialects, accents, and customs, and definitely not cultural songs, sung by some of the podcasters. I hope Japanese Cultural Classes can continue and perhaps, you could cover areas like 落語(らくご)appreciation and period drama appreciation if that's possible.

Thank you again for taking time to read my message.

Hi!
I agree with you, chinz-san. Me being a language-nerd, I especially enjoyed the dialect classes and would love to learn more about Japanese dialects!
But culture and customs in general, regional traditions etc are fun to hear about too.
And as you say, there are so many things we can't learn as well in books as by living people.

So, I vote for more JCC too!!
