Good, I was also going to ask about the compression on the podcasts. One suggestion: please turn the sound effects down. Phones ringing or other high pitched sounds are probably worse on your ears than anything else.
It seems like the volume changes between podcasts. Are you doing the limit on the natural speaking voice of everyone?
As for the headphones, I use Audio Technica earbuds. They have a good range although not much bass response for music. They are perfect though for speech.
