Konnichiwa Japanesepod101!

Postby jonathantyler483204 » November 4th, 2012 7:02 pm

Hajimemashite. Jonasan desu. Amrika-jin desu. Suki na anime to manga. Kiari na hito ga gaka desu. Douzo yoroshiku.

Please note that my vocabulary is quite small right now. I just decide to attempt a greeting with small grammar and words i do know. Any advice and help will be greatly appreciated. I would love to have anyone else learning japanese or is fluence to keep in contact so that we can communicate and help each other.

I am not fluent, but I have learned that it is best learned if used frequently in conversation. I am in my 1st semester of Japanese and it is a struggling task. do you want to converse in japanese on chat? just a suggestion.

Hello!
How about posting in Japanese on out site?
It's a little different from actual conversation, but we're happy if you could use our site for practice too!

So a thread like this is what I should use?

Yes: you write something in Japanese and then the rest of us can respond by replying, offering questions or asking for explanations. So, having said that…

You wrote:Hajimemashite. Jonasan desu. Amrika-jin desu. Suki na anime to manga. Kiari na hito ga gaka desu. Douzo yoroshiku.

Kochira koso yoroshilku! I don't understand the sentence Kiari na hito ga gaka desu. As far as I can discover, kiari is some kind of ant, so I assume it's a typo. Should it have been Kirai-na hito ga gaka desu (the kind of people I dislike are artists)?

Hi again :)

Yes, you can write sentences in Japanese here or each lesson's board.
Like マイケルsan showed you, you can write anything in Japanese and someone will reply
