Advice on Kanji.

Postby kdptv1403_518022 » November 20th, 2017 3:24 pm

こんにちは みんさん
I would like some advice on the best ways to study kanji and where to start.
I am currently going through (https://www.japanesepod101.com/category/newbie-lessons/) and can understand hiragana, although If I don't know of the words in a sentence I struggle to tell different words and particles apart. My katakana is a little rough but I am going to improve.
My problem above with hiragana is what made me have a need for kanji (I was planning on learning it in the future for definite but this bumped its priority) with kanji I feel like I could flow through sentences better when I can read, write and understand the characters of course.

I've never been good at revision so using memory apps for kana really helped me after learning them (I wrote them down on paper multiple times) but kanji seems to be more complicated than a phonetic alphabet so requires allot more study and revision.

So, if anyone has any good methods of learning kanji I would love to hear them.
I'm willing to write down the characters but due to arthritis in my hands continuous and repetitive writing causes allot of pain which is never a good motivator for studying.
ありがと ございます
