ぎゃあぎゃあ言う

Postby LentoMan » November 9th, 2006 4:30 pm

Hi,

What exactly does this ぎゃあぎゃあ言う mean, and how is it used, can it have different meanings?

According to my dictionary ぎゃあぎゃあ means (adv,n) scream, squawk, squeal

I tried looking at some japanese sites but cannot quite understand the meaning
of ぎゃあぎゃあ言う

Thanks in advance,
LentoMan

Well, if ぎゃあぎゃあ is an adverb meaning scream and 言う is a verb meaning, then Im pretty sure it means screaming shouting.

Also, I found this sentence on wwwjdic:

ぎゃあぎゃあ言うのはやめてください。
Stop making a fuss.

Thanks a lot for the help! Now that you mention it, I think "making a fuss" is a good translation in most cases I've looked at.
