My name's James Kirk, would it be:

ジエムス クルク
ji-e-mu-su ku-ru-ku

This name has probably been katakana'd before :lol:

Hajimemashite

This is my first post here. I have been studying Japanese for 2 weeks now with the intesnsion to get fluent one day.
I have downloaded all of the JapanesePod101.com Podcasts and listen to them everyday. Probably putting in around 1 hour - 2 hours per day.

I would like to say thank you to all the JPod101.com staff and to keep up the great work. You make learning Japanese really fun and interesting :)

Anyway down to the point, please can you translate my name?

Edward Small

I'd go for エドワード スマール (edowa-do suma-ru)
I'm not sure about suma-ru :)

After thinking about 'Small' a bit more, I think スモール = sumo-ru is closer than my first suggestion.

Hello Sindy,
サインディ sounds like 'sign-di'; you could try シンディ which sounds like 'shin-di'.

What would be the Japanese approximation for Azrey'lle ?

A - Z - R - E - Y ( apostrophe ) L - L - E
わたしわねこがすきです

I'm guessing azrey'lle => azurei-ru => アズレイール
However I'm sure there are other possibilities.
