Writing an email in japanese to my japanese teacher

Postby huaiximm_508010 » September 18th, 2015 3:35 am

I need to write an email to my japanese teacher to request for a make up class and I'm having a lot of trouble. Could you give pointers on how to improve/phrase my sentences?
This is my rough draft:

~先生,
こんにちわ。日本語2のA6の(myname)です。
わたしはあさってほかのモジュルの make-up lab sessionがあり... sessionですから、いかなければなりません。ですから(how can i phrase it in a way to not repeat desukara so soon?) can i phrase it in a way to not repeat desukara so soon)、こんしょう12時から2時までのチュートリアルAはいけません。(How to say'I'm really sorry', or is there sth better I can put to express my apologies)
(As such?) あしたA3のmake-upクラスは行ってもいいですか。
(how do i end? With thank you or よろしくおねがいします or sth else)

(my sirname to sign off)

 さん、
こんにちは。 :)
The receiver is your teacher so s/he knows your Japanese proficiency level.
You might think sending an email including mistakes is rude to your teacher.
However, if I was your teacher, I would not care about your mistakes and I would admire you try to write the email in Japanese by yourself.
You are a learner so you don’t need to worry about making mistakes very much.
Teachers can see who writes the email which means whether you write it by yourself or someone helps you.
Even if you don’t take formal classes, your teacher may be disappointed at the academic misconduct…
Or if you make mistakes, will you get mark deduction?
You have to ensure spellings for example, こんにちは and こんしゅう however, I think you can send that to your teacher without English parts.
Your teacher can understand that.
