How would you say this?

Postby 123kalei.dosc.ope123_503662 » January 11th, 2015 6:40 am

Hello! I have a question, how would you say this in Japanese?

"I didn't know how to say or read anything in Japanese."

Thanks in advance! ^^

123kalei.dosc.ope123 san,
Konnichiwa. :D
"I didn't know how to say anything in Japanese" means 日本語でどう言うか知りませんでした.

"I didn't know how to read anything in Japanese" means 日本語でどう読むか知りませんでした。

どうもありがとうございます!

Can it be combined into one sentence? Or can you put you put また after the 1st sentence so that it would be like " I also ..."
For example:

日本語でどう言うか知りませんでした. 私はまた、日本語でどう読むか知りませんでした。

Is that correct?

Thank you ^^

123kalei.dosc.ope123 san,
Konnichiwa.
You can say 日本語でどう言うか知りませんでしたし、日本語でどう読むか知りませんでした。
“日本語でどう言うか知りませんでした. また、日本語でどう読むか知りませんでした” is good, too.
