Done the pimsleur, now what?

Postby tsettsyung_503697 » January 10th, 2015 9:08 pm

Hi all,

First post here - ooo, exciting - ahem...

I have recently completed the Pimsleur language course for learning Japanese. I have really enjoyed this, however my memory is affected due to my Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. So I'm having trouble remembering some of it. Hence I'm currently going through it again from the beginning - although a LOT quicker ;)

In the meantime, what else should I be looking into as the next step in learning Japanese. The pimsleur courses are only verbal so I've started investigating apps to help me to read and write Kanji, Hirigana and Katakana, but was wondering out further speech learning. Any suggestions?

Thank you for reading this, I hope you didn't feel too much of your life ebbing away whilst you were reading this essay. I look forward to any replies. Even if they just confirm that I'm a muppet ;)
