iPod Learning Software?

Postby Fedgrub » June 26th, 2008 11:22 pm

Does anyone know if there is any flashcard software for iPods? I am not an expert, just sort of upper beginner so its not about cramming 2000 kanji just yet, but I am interested in learning them. I understand the hiragana and katakana alphabets, however it wouldnt hurt to concrete them some more too. I was looking at getting Anki on my phone, and even though I heard you can do this I have not found anywhere that has it for anything other than Palm OS which I dont have. So I am left thinking maybe flashcards or any learning software for my iPod would be useful. I am not really interested in having software which is phrases, as I need to build my vocabulary.

If anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them!

There are flashcards (of sorts) available for each JPLT level from Playsay:

And your timing couldn't have been more perfect. Apparently jpod101 and Playsay are now affiliated.

I got them a while ago, and I think they're pretty neat.
