mixi started using this mobile phone address thing from effectively from 15 March 2007 :(
My girlfriend also didn't know about this announcement either. I'm not the lucky one! :( :?

They want to prevent single user with multiple accounts . I'm not in Japan and only Japan mobile phone provider domains (docomo.ne.jp ezweb.ne.jp etc) can be use. Not fare!! :evil:

How about Japanee people that live outside Japan that want to register?

just found this forum, and found it pretty interesting.

anyhow, have also been wanting to get on mixi, but have never had the chance to since its invite only :roll:

was wondering if anyone could send me an invite :)

will check the rest of the forum out now :P

but thanx in advance :)

In the email, they said mobile phone mail is need too increase the comunity safety, privacy etc. So we're sorry bla bla bla :roll:

But the next day, I'm surprised that they already removed the phone mail requirement!! :D 8)

Who want to register mixi better to register now before they change their mind again :wink:

Mixi Invitations

Sorry to come out of the woodwork here - I've recently been turned on to the podcasts and would really appreciate it if anyone could send an invitation. Mixi looks great and I think it would be a great place to practice reading everyday Nihongo.
