Hey!

I'm fairly new to Japanese and I'd like to know my Japanese name. I'm an ABC (american-born chinese) and I think translating my Chinese name would be easier. My full name would be: 「陳弘文」 with 「陳」 being my surname/last name. The pronunciation goes along the lines of "chen (<--last name) hong-wen". Thanks!

Your name should be written クリスティーナ or クリスティナ and your son’s name should be ギャビン in Japanese.

Hello everyone! My name is Breece David Kelsey. My first name is pronounced "Brees" like Reese with a "B" before it. How might you write all that in Japanese? My best guess is: ブリス ダビヅ ケルシ (In order from first to last)

That's pretty close, I think. The Japanese word for Christmas is クリスマス, and I think the "i" sound in "Christmas" is shorter than you want, so i think Breece should be ブリース.

David is a well-known name and it's usually written デビッド (debiddo) or デイビッド (deibiddo).

For Kelsey I think I'd go for ケルシー, extending the final "i" because シ is often devoiced enough to sound like "sh" rather than "shi" and extending the vowel sound makes sure the "i" won't disappear.

Hi! Quick question about my name.

My name is Tegan. Pronounced Teh-gehn.

I wasn't sure if it should be written as it is in English or how it's pronounced. I'm leaning towards the second.

テガン or テゲン

thanks! :D

Hello!
How about saying "Christine" in Japanese? I found "Kurisu" (クリス) however I couldn't quite figure out the whole name (Would it be "Kurisuchin"? クリスチン)
P.S.: My name in Portuguese is actually Cristiane. Could you help me with this one too?

ありがとう ね

Acristianedalva san,
Konnichiwa. :)
Cristiane in Portuguese should be クリスティアーニ.
Cristiane in English should be クリスティアン.
You can choose one out of them.
