Learn Chinese with the new Chineseclass101.com

Postby untmdsprt » May 19th, 2009 9:27 am

This is a new site from Innovative Learning! Have you mastered 2000 some kanji? How about taking it to the next level and learn their Chinese readings?

Chineseclass includes both the simplified and traditional characters along with pinyin, and English.

A word of warning though, get your computer up-to-date to be able to display Chinese. Macs should be able to handle it without problems, but you'll have to enable the keyboard input by going to system preferences ----> international ------> input menu ------> Traditional Chinese -------> Pinyin.

PC users will have to follow their computer's instructions, unless a PC member cares to post it here.

Unless they have Vista, in which case the job already is done. Just install the Chinese keyboard and go.

Care to be more specific with the directions in case someone doesn't know how to install a new keyboard?

Thanks!

Can't believe I didn't notice this thread sooner-- I'm so there. I've been sneaking my way back into Mandarin lately, but always found the lessons (at least the introductory ones) at ChinesePod pretty dry. If this is anything like JP101, it'll will be quite a nice change of pace!
High time to finish what I've started. || Anki vocabulary drive: 5,000/10k. Restart coming soon. || Dig my Road to Katakana tutorial on the App store.
