Well I don't have an Ipod touch and not even the money to buy one, So Do you know where is possible to find the 2000 most common japanese words for free?

If you need a vocabulary list, I'd recommend studying the JLPT grades 4 and 3, which comprise around 2,000~2,500 words in all. Personally I would advice reading and listening extensively and simply writing down anything you look up into a flashcard program. It takes a long time but you will progress this way, and understanding word usage will be less of a problem.
