Katakana Spelling similar to Polish

Postby wiewiurtv_515624 » March 26th, 2017 1:50 am

I`m learning some Katakana and i have just realized that it`s very similar to the polish English spelling

Also i speak German,Polish and i must say.. as a pupil i found that for Germans Japanese pronunciation is a nightmare because words don`t make any sense for them but for me it was insanely easy because most of the sounds in Japanese actually are exactly the same in Polish and Polish Silesia Dialect

so a question to you guys, which is your native language except English or maybe a secondary language and did you find any similarities between it and Japanese?

Thank you for your posts.
I am not sure about Polish....
However, I think language were affected by Chinese kanji should sometimes have similar pronunciations.

I asked my teacher at school who is Japanese and know polish well, and he said same thing.. Japanese is between Polish and English when it comes to pronunciation

examples : Wa = Ła, shi = ś, chi = ć, ji = dż, also some simple kanji`s which are smillar 女 kun reading is Onna, in polish Ona is she
also the phrase building blocks are almost the same as used in the Old Polish language or Germanic aswell, kanjis are really smillar
but that`s what i found out and every day i find similar words to Polish,German,English so as an native speaker of those 3 Languages
its really easy for me to pronounce Japanese, the only difficulty for most people is the japanese "らりるれろ" as its in between R and L
but its actually similar to German R when spoken fast..

anyways thanks for answering ;)
