British Teacher in Japan

Has this been discussed anywhere on the forums?

From what I know, an eikawa teacher was murdered in Funabashi sometime this past week. I'm curious to know how those in Japan feel about their safety.

Crazy stuff life that happens everywhere.
People tend to think of Japan as being absolutely safe, and thus they do things they would never do back in their home countries.

I think that Japan is still safer than most Western countries, but you still need to exercise some common sense.
