Itunes: Get only low intermediate lessons

Postby p_gomp » December 15th, 2006 2:40 pm

Hello friends of Jaapanesepod101!

I have a question, I have configured that my itunes gets regularly the content of japanesepod. The point is that now I get not only the beginners and low intermediate podcasts that i need, but also the news and blogs podcasts and other podcasts that i do not want to download. Is there a way in itunes that I configure to get only the things iwant to ?

On the main page (http://www.japanesepod101.com/index.php) along the right edge of the screen is an RSS 2.0 section. Right click one of the lesson types you want and choose "Copy Link Location" (for Firefox. I'm not sure what the command is for other browsers). In iTunes, in the menu click on Advanced, then Subscribe to Podcast. Paste the link you just copied into the box and hit ok. Repeat this for each lesson type you want to subscribe to.

As an alternative, you may want to try out Dimitri's podcast browser if you have a Mac, or my Windows version of the same program. They're both works in progress, so they're not finished yet. But they both let you view only the lesson types you want. You can get them here:
