how do I sync old podcasts from old computer?

Postby danielsan » July 17th, 2007 10:57 pm

I recently bought a new laptop (mac) and got a discount on an ipod. Great! Now I can listen to all my jpod on the go, right? Uh, nope. I can only sync from one computer because I'd be "stealing" music from my old one (the pc). :?

No problem, right? I can just manually mangage my files with iTunes, just check the option box on the iTunes page. Uh, no, wrong again. I can add the files manually from my old computer, but they are added as audio files, so if I shuffle my songs, I get a random jpod broadcast, too! Simply put, the old jpod files won't add into the *podcast* directory. I've been listening for seven months with nearly all past broadcasts downloaded, but the new computer will only get the current ("last 10 episodes") feed? Very frustrating!

So my question is-- is there any way to coordinate the old files with my new ipod/computer?
