Old iTunes podcast no longer available?

Postby tvsjessica » June 29th, 2007 6:18 pm

I had all episodes in my podcasts window until this morning, when all that remained were the three introductory lessons and the most recent 9 episodes. I've tried all the Apple suggested ways for downloading all episodes of a podcast, to no avail. Everything for the past two years is gone. Were they moved on a server, and if so, will they be put back for download on iTunes? Or can you no longer access any old episodes through iTunes?

I can't access them either.
Can the admins please put them back?

Thank you.

Hi JPOD101,

Can we get an answer on this? I can only download maybe 20 files or so. Will this be fixed or is it just going to stay this way?

Thank you.

Mina-san,

With over 500 podcasts to date, our RSS feed was getting out of control. We recently cut our feed to the latest 10 episodes and 3 introduction ones for new users. Of course, the audio files for all our lessons will continue to be available for free and can be downloaded using these methods:

1) Directly from our website
2) From our BitTorrent links in the Download Center
3) Using our Premium iTunes Feed (available for Basic and Premium members).

Thank you for your support and understanding.

I thought I was losing my mind. Good to know I'm not. I'm really in need of the Season 2 episodes. I only have 1-10 and I've almost finished them. About them not being there anymore...that's just craptastic...but I guess I'll make do.

Can someone please tell me how I can actually download the previous podcasts from the website? The only available options that I can find are to play it but not to download.
Many thanks ^____^

Just to add, the link you want to right (or control) click on is the Audio link just to the right of the little speaker icon.

Hi, Where do you do this message? I'm doing this where it says "right clink and save as." I'm not getting the "saved linked file" message when I right-click on my mouse. The only messages I get are 'save link as,' 'bookmark this link,' and 'save page as."

The exact wording depends on which browser you're using. In the browser you are using the option you need is "Save File As...".
