Pharmacy Prescriptions

Postby redlizard » April 25th, 2006 10:08 pm

How does one go about getting a prescrition fom a local doctor for "lovastatin" or an equivelent medicine and then get it filled.......at a hospital?..pharmacy? this came to mind after listening to lesson#18. Include in part 2?

Thanks

To get the prescription from the doctor:
ロバスタチンを処方して頂きたいんですが...
Robasutachin wo shuhou shite itadakitain desu ga...

To get the medicine from the pharmacist:
この処方せんの薬を下さい。
Kono shuhousen no kusuri wo kudasai.

I'm not sure about the word "robasutachin". If it doesn't work, try a brand name.
