There are many J horror movies like Silent Hill,l Ji-on, etc but if you can't think of any well then tell me about what you like more of Japan's Anime, Manga, music, movies, people, languages, etc! There are alot of thinks you can tell me about Japan I'm interest in knowing more ok! I also want to make friends too so I'll start by introducing my self ok!

I watched this Japanese Horror movie called Infection! Pretty freaky! It was great.

Has anyone else seen it? If you have, I have a question about it, when I watched the movie "Infection", there was this old man close to the beginning of the movie who came in with a broken ankle, I have seen this exact same man in the original Japanese "Dark Water" as the man in charge of the apartment building, and he was a crazy patient in "Ju-On (Grudge)". He was also in a few other movies too playing very small roles. But not being able to read the credits of the movies it is hard to figure out who this man is.

Any ideas?

I was thinking that the old man was maybe the creater of these movies. But if he was, he is really hard to look up on Google.

The "Silent Hill" movie has been made by Christoph Gans, who is french (from France)... The videogame is japanese, yes, but the movie...

yeah I know that but a Japanese director was also involve but I forgot their names for both Japanese composer too! I'm huge fan I have all the Silent Hill soundtracks from 1 to 4 WOW! The best great music I ever heard.

I have the movie in DVD and I watched the making-of. There is no mention of an other director, and especially no mention of an other japanese director.

Of course, the music is from the same composer of the video game. But that doesn't make it a "japanese movie".

That is strange because I also own the DVD (Full Screen DVD version)! I also remember reading an interview about the both producers of Silent Hill in a video game magazine(EGM).

They talk about the movie and how it would be like Silent Hill 1 they say:

"We decide to change the man's father role into a woman role has the girl mother because it had to be more motherhood, more feminine, only womens have it".

I think he is wrong because I know also men that are very feminine and both mother and father but they are call in different way!
