Student Life in Japan

Postby Earl » August 18th, 2008 8:43 pm

I was planning on doing a year long course in a japanese language course in tokyo. I have already been looking at class prices and monthly stays in guesthouses and came to the conclusion that it would be very expensive. I was wondering if someone who had done this before could breakdown how much a year would cost.

I made an example although ive no idea whether or not ive got it right

1 year course 686,000 yen (Year)
Accomadation (Oakhouse) 45,000(Month)
Utility (Oakhouse) 10500(Month)
Train Pass ???
Food ???
Extras ???
