I'm visiting Japan soon, a lot of the smaller, country side hotels or ryokans don't have automated online booking system. Instead I need to book through emails or over the phone.
Although I know many of these hotels read English too, I think it'd would be good chance to practice some Japanese as well,
Any 'template' I could use that describes something like in proper, polite Japanese?
"Hi, I am visiting from the US, and would like to book single room for two nights on Sept 1st....."
and if the room isn't available, how do I ask,
"what about Sept 2?"
