Just saying that the area I was living in we learned slang and girls liked to use Boku. And that it is funny to hear guys who have japanese girlfriends who learn only girly japanese. I don't like girly japanese even for girls, it's too demeaning, but that's because I wasn't raised girly lol. And I like yakuza japanese because people think that the area of italy i come from has mafia, but it doesn't. But I still like the rougher japanese, it matches italian more.
When I lived in Japan, the exchange students learned slang. There were many girls who used boku. I started to use boku as well. I like yakuza slang, because of that, I use expressions such as yarrrro! and daze! the yakuza is the japanese mafia (there was a lot of that in our area), and because of that, I like to use that kind of male way of speaking. I think that girly talk is bad. Nevertheless, i use it at times. Only when I speak to an important person i use watashi, but, to use kimi and anata is bad. but why do you have such words? they are suppose to be really bad. It is only acceptable to use them with friends.
Did you understand the "note"?
I have a lot of japanese female friends and these girls have such boyfriends as americans and australians. these guys often know how to speak only girly japanese. kinda weird. but, girls who speak boyish japanese, I believe are less weak. but the other way around is a little odd.
I like to use guy japanese!
because of that, i plan on using it hehe. Perhaps, I am actually a boy??? :O
