I tried finding this kanji based on radicals but couldn't track it down, can anyone help?

Try just pasting in the link to wherever the image is storedーit needs to be stored somewhere; you can't just paste images into forum postings.

Actually、now that I think about it, I think there's restriction on posting images until you've posted a certain of messages on the forum. Something like 5 messages, if I recall correctly. So you probably did the right thing, only you haven't posted enough messages yet so the image was disallowed.

In the meantime. as I suggested earlier, you could post the URL to the image so we can see the picture.
