Postby osmoticpressure » June 19th, 2007 12:29 am

Hi
Both I Ku and Yu Ku (to go) have a same kanji? When should I say Yu Ku not I Ku?
Thanks in advance

I think いく is often used in daily conversations, while ゆく is more polite and will be used in formal situations.

9 times out of 10 I hear and use いく、have only heard ゆくa few times on tv, never in person.
