Classical Japanese Grammar

Postby mangara99 » January 22nd, 2010 8:54 pm

Hello everyone!

I'm really interested in learning old japanese grammar but it's really diffcult to find information. If you know of any good sites or books can you tell me please?
Also, if you know something about would you share the information here, I'd be really grateful.

I'm assuming you mean the old literary form of Japanese, right?

Anyway, Japanese Wikipedia has some information on this older grammar:

I know of this one: http://www.sengokudaimyo.com/bungo/bungo.html

Unfortunately I don't know the first thing about old Japanese grammar so I can't vouch for its contents.

Thank you so much! I've checked both sites and there's really useful information though this topic is a really difficult one, now I feel discouraged :( Reading that wikipedia article I realized my japanese level is not good enough yet, I almost went crazy trying to understand what it says because there's lots of difficult words. I think I'll leave old grammar for later and focus on improving my current level.

Anyway thanks for your cooperation.
