I'd like a lesson about お見合い。
Nowadays, is it still a common practice? to what extent?
Is it easier in Japan to get a job being married?

Kind regards!

There are one or more culture lessons on it with Sakura. Look through them and I'm sure you'll find them. It seems to be very old-fashioned as far as I know.

I was recently in Japan and, even if the relationships between men and women are now more similar to the Western style, I think that the "omiai" is not completely old fashioned.

A recently aired drama (the title is "Ohitorisama") tackle this topic together with the new trend in female world, the idea to have a job career and a family, too.
