| うん｡ フロリダの ともだちが 会いに 来るの｡ それで、いっしょに キャンプしに 行くよ｡ いせきくんも、いっしょに 行かない？(Un. Furorida no tomodachi ga ai ni kuru no. Sore de, issho ni kyanpu shi ni iku yo. Iseki-kun mo, issho ni ikanai?) |
| Yeah. My friend from Florida is coming to visit. We're going camping together. Want to come too, Iseki? |
| Here, the speaker uses 行かない？ (ikanai?), the plain negative question form, as a soft invitation. Even though it looks negative, it really means “Want to go?” or “Won’t you come?” This is a very natural and casual way to invite someone. |
