| Inobe-sha to no keiyaku, zannen deshita ne. Demo, hontō ni o-tsukaresama deshita. |
| おつかれさまでした｡ひさしぶりに ゆっくりできますね｡ |
| O-tsukaresama deshita. Hisashiburi ni yukkuri dekimasu ne. |
| ところで､ながおかさんは ひまなとき､何をするのが すきですか｡ |
| Tokorode, Nagaoka-san wa hima na toki, nani o suru no ga suki desu ka. |

| First is the phrase, ９時ごろまで (kuji goro made), meaning "until around 9 o'clock." ９時ごろまで (slow version - breakdown by syllable). ９時ごろまで. |
| After this is ねる (neru), meaning "sleep." ねる (slow version - breakdown by syllable). ねる. |
| ねる comes from the verb, ねる (neru), "to sleep." |
| Next is the particle, のが (no ga), which is a combination of the nominalizer の (no) and the subject-marking particle が (ga). It nominalizes the verb "ねる" so it can act as a noun, and then makes it the subject of the sentence. |
