I'm sorry for this late reply...


My own child/children is "kodomo", whereas someone's child/children is "o-ko-san"(polite).

And we say my family as "watashi no kazoku", and someoneโ€™s family as "([name]-san no) go-kazoku" in a polite way.

I have two questions regarding this topic:

1. Is there dedicated word for (my) children? Or there will be the same for describing my own children and other person's children?

2. What is the word for "my family"?
