The number for 6 appears as 5. The romaji transcription for (b) is not the correct one for the sentences. Letter (c) at the end should be (e), and there is a mistake in the romaji transcription, because it should be benkyล, not bekyล.

Thank you so much for your comment๐Ÿ˜„

The answer for part 4 question b is correct๐Ÿ‘

You can use ใฏ both in the first and second part of the sentence, but it's not necessary.

You can put ใฏ only in the second part to show the contrast๐Ÿ˜‰

Please let us know if you have any questions :)

Also, 5c seems to reinforce what 4b is saying. It seems ใจใฏ is not used in the first part of the sentence but it is used in the second part.

Tanaka-san to o-cha o nomimasu ga, Nakamura-san to wa ocha o nomimasen.

Not, Tanaka-san to wa.

This seems inconsistent with the usage for ใธใฏ, ใงใฏ, ใซใฏ.

Please confirm.

Thank you so much for your comment๐Ÿ˜„

It is correct since you we put wa as an emphasis on the latter part๐Ÿ‘

Please let us know if you have any questions :)

Hi,

I think there is an error with the answers, as Nan posted on May 15th 2020.

The answer for question 4 part b says:

Tanaka-san to ikimasu. Demo, Nakamura-san to wa ikimasen.

I believe it should be "Tanaka-san to wa ikimasu"? As it only has the one "wa" for emphasis on the latter part.

Hi Nan,

Thank you for posting!

ใŸใชใ‹ใ•ใ‚“ใจ ใ„ใใพใ™ใ€‚

This is a normal sentence, "I'm going with Tanaka-san."

ใŸใชใ‹ใ•ใ‚“ใจใฏ ใ„ใใพใ™ใ€‚

In this sentence, ใŸใชใ‹ใ•ใ‚“ใจ is a special part that the speaker want to make into a topic, using ใฏ to mark it. So you can emphasize that "I'm going with Tanaka-san, but not with anyone/someone else."

Hope you enjoy learning Japanese with us!

Sincerely,

Miho

Hi, In the worksheet, there is a sentence:

ใŸใชใ‹ใ•ใ‚“ใจใ€€ใ„ใใพใ™ใ€‚ใงใ‚‚ใ€ใชใ‹ใ‚€ใ‚‰ใ•ใ‚“ใจใฏใ€€ใ„ใใพใ›ใ‚“ใ€‚

I wonder if it should be ใŸใชใ‹ใ•ใ‚“ใจใฏ

And if not, can someone explain why?

Thanks,
