I've recently posted a simple new app on the iPhone App store for learning hiragana and katakana. It's called Tiny Japanese, please check it out! http://www.tinyteacherapps.com Thanks!

I use memoreasy, it's universal application that helps me memorizing things without watching at the screen - something between a dictaphone and flashcards with memory spacing algorithm.

Just a couple of comments. Of course I love Japanesepod that is why I care...

Good luck with that. My only observation would be that I would think its a bit dangerous to associate oneself with a specific product, especially one with so many problems. Running after all the latest fads, might be counterproductive in the longer term. Jpod should be a beacon of stability not a catalog of failed experiments. Again, just a minority opinion.

I think everybody suspected that asking people to write why they like Japanese was just another marketing operation. Fair enough. However, even accounting for this, I think that this account of the winner story was all about Japanesepod and nothing really about the listener!

I am sure, as Sindy said before me, that there are other and more interesting stories. After all we see going through all sorts of lengths in marketing yourself all the time, maybe this was a chance to connect more with listeners...

Great news about the new apps!

I looked on the iTunes store for the Lite version so I can give it a try, but don't find it there. Will it be appearing soon?
