Lesson Transcript

Chigusa: What if you could save conversations...
Peter: ... listen to them as many times as you want...
Chigusa: ...and end up knowing 100s of practical, everyday conversations.
Peter: Imagine how better your listening and speaking skills would be...
Chigusa: Well, there is an easy way to do this.
Peter: And in this Sunday News, you’ll learn all about a special Premium Tool...
Chigusa: That gives you practical conversations in your target language...
Peter: That you can save and review over and over
Chigusa: ...and it’s THE key to speaking more and more of your target language.
Chigusa: Welcome to this episode of Innovative Language Learning Sunday News! I'm Chigusa and I'll be your host. My co-host today is the founder of InnovativeLanguage.com, Peter Galante!
Peter: Hi everyone! Peter here.
Chigusa: Alright listeners, so if you want to understand 100s of conversations...
Peter: ...that you can save and replay as much as you want...
Chigusa: Then, you’ll want this study tool.
Peter: It’s called the Dialogue Track.
Chigusa: Peter, just so our listeners know, what is the Dialogue track?
Peter: The Dialogue track is an audio track with just the conversation of the lesson... in the target language. No transitions. And it’s only about 10-30 seconds long.
Chigusa: So, listeners, let’s say you’re doing a 5-minute lesson about ordering food at a restaurant.
Peter: First you hear a conversation. Then our teachers explain every grammar rule and translate every word. So, you know what it all means.
Chigusa: So, if you want to save and relisten to that conversation…
Peter: ...without retaking that whole 5-minute lesson...
Chigusa: That’s where the dialog track comes in.
Peter: It gives you just the conversation.
Chigusa: So, listeners, here’s what makes the Dialogue Tracks so powerful.
Peter: First: You can quickly review the conversation without relistening to the lesson.
Chigusa: The dialog track is just 10 to 30 seconds long. So it won’t take you long at all.
Peter: Second: You'll remember the conversations easier.
Chigusa: Listen on repeat like you would with a song...
Peter: ...and the words, phrases, and grammar rules will stick better.
Chigusa: And the more you come back to re-listen, the better it will all stick.
Peter: Third: You’ll speak more of your target language.
Chigusa: So, if you have 10, 20, or 100 dialogue tracks like that...
Peter: Then you have 10, 20, or 100 conversations that you’ll know inside out...
Chigusa: ...and that you can use in real life. For example, conversations like... catching up with friends, ordering at a restaurant, talking about your family, introducing yourself, and much much more.
Peter: Fourth: You improve your listening skills...
Chigusa: ...and can immerse yourself in the language.
Peter: So imagine you finished 20 lessons, and you downloaded 20 dialog tracks to your phone.
Chigusa: That’s 20 conversations.
Peter: Exactly. You can create a playlist and play those 20 tracks...
Chigusa: ...and get used to the language, and immerse yourself.
Peter: So listeners, to recap, here’s what you do to make the most of the Dialogue Tracks.
Chigusa: After you finish a lesson, download the dialogue track. Save to your computer or phone.
Peter: Listen to it on repeat whenever possible. Kind of like you would with music.
Chigusa: If you’ve finished 20 lessons, you should have 20 dialog tracks.
Peter: Then create a playlist of these dialog tracks...
Chigusa: ...so that you can listen to all kinds of conversations for review.
Peter: And try shadowing the conversation that you hear.
Chigusa: In other words, repeat what you hear.
Peter: This will become super easy once you’ve heard the conversation enough times.
Chigusa: But, if you’re still struggling with a word or two, go back to the lesson...
Peter: ...and check the line-by-line breakdown of the conversation, and you’ll get it.
Chigusa: Now, Peter, the Dialogue Tracks are a Premium feature, right?
Peter: Exactly. If you’re a Premium or Premium PLUS user, take advantage of this feature. If not, and…
Chigusa: If you want to master your language with fast, easy lessons...
Peter: ...your own teacher, AND our complete learning system, then act fast.
Chigusa: Our Epic Sale ends tomorrow. Get 40% OFF Premium and Premium PLUS.
Peter: ...and unlock our complete learning system...
Chigusa: That’s hundreds of audio lessons and video lessons made by real teachers...
Peter: Exclusive apps so you can learn on the go...
Chigusa: ... dozens of study tools to help you learn twice as fast.
Peter: And, you get your very own teacher if you upgrade to Premium PLUS.
Chigusa: Get 40% OFF Premium or Premium PLUS.

This is very frustrating. You keep telling us this is the way to go, but nowhere can i find instructions on how to do this. There is a button that looks like a download button but it just opens a window and gives you the ability to play it over and over. How do I SAVE this thing to my phone please?

Hi Javantea,

Thank you for your comment!

Yes, as you say, sometimes the dialogues might be difficult to understand.

But listening practice would be also very helpful for your listening skill😊

Hope you enjoy learning Japanese with us:)

I came up with that idea when I saw the dialogues were available separately for download. My thought was that the dialogues would be much more difficult to understand, so they would act like an extra level once I improved my listening skill. It makes sense that listening to dialogues might also have the effect of improving my listening skill.
