Hi everyone

First I want to say welcome to Noriko san. I dont know I can say that "welcome" word or not because I'm new here myself. Anyway, I love the show and love to hear more voice. Personally, I think men voice are easy to understand but I love women voice because it easy for me to follow and try to say just like them. So, Noriko san great to hear your voice.

Peterさん、

Gotta say I'm in agreement with you about Japanese women's pronunciation. And yes, men do tend to mumble. Almost as if clarity would be less manly. :???: In fact, if you watch some men's (and yes, some women's) mouths, you'll notice their top teeth and bottom teeth never separate.

Of course, Japanese requires less mouth gymnastics than most languages, but I find that men tend to make less effort in being clear.

My ¥2,

Daniel

Would anybody tell me the right word to use in Japanese to say that a voice is lovely/nice ?

Personally, I'd say 素敵(すてき)な声(こえ)/suteki na koe. Though I don't think 美声 is wrong.
